Maba Tissue Culture lab

Opened August 2003 in cooperation with a Dutch Company for the purpose of Plant Multiplication and Export.
The lab is 330 m2 with 4 Growth Rooms, 1 room for media preparation and a
storeroom and a multiplication room.

Plants for Multiplication include:
Phalaenopsis, Lilium, Peperomia, Green Musa, Linounium, Spathiphyllum, Strawberries, Banans and Grapes.

Number of employees: 27 Agriculture Engineers with specialization in microbiology, Biotechnology. The lab is headed by a specialized Doctor in Plants diseases.
